Ketai started Bedrock, a full-service real estate firm, in 2011 along with Dan Gilbert, Founder and Chairman of Quicken Loans and Rock Ventures. In four years, the company has invested $1.7 billion in more than 70 properties in downtown Detroit. In addition, Bedrock and its affiliates have helped locate more than 120 new businesses to retail and office spaces in the city’s urban core. The company also plays an active role in placemaking, activating public spaces with basketball courts, outdoor seating, and even pianos on the streets for people to play. Bedrock is also helping infuse the downtown area with murals and vibrant works of art, creating public art spaces for the community to enjoy.

A dinner reception and awards ceremony to honor this year’s champions took place May 6 at the Quicken Loans J.A. Finance Park in downtown Detroit.

Congratulations, Jim and thank you for all you do!
